Plastic Plate Thermoforming Solutions

From party plates to airline meal trays — SAYEAH delivers turnkey plate manufacturing lines engineered for high-speed, high-volume production. With forming areas up to 820×650mm and cycle speeds reaching 65 cycles per minute, our thermoforming machines process PP, PS, PET, PLA, and CPET sheets to produce millions of disposable plates per month, trusted by catering suppliers and airline food manufacturers across 60+ countries.

What Types of Plates Can You Produce?

  • Disposable Party Plates — Economy PS or PP plates in round, square, and oval shapes for parties, events, picnics, and household use. High-volume, low-cost production — typically the first product line for new plate manufacturers.
  • Airline & Catering Meal Trays — Multi-compartment CPET or PP meal trays for in-flight catering, airline food service, hospital meals, and institutional catering. CPET trays are oven-safe up to 220°C and microwave-compatible — essential for reheating pre-packaged meals.
  • Fast-Food Serving Plates — Rigid PP or HIPS plates for fast-food chains, quick-service restaurants, and food courts. Designed for hot food contact, grease resistance, and stackable storage behind the counter.
  • Premium Catering Plates — Clear PET or crystal-clear APET plates with elegant appearance for weddings, upscale events, and premium catering services. Rigid, shatter-resistant, and dishwasher-safe for reusable applications.

Are your thermoformed plates microwave and oven safe?

Microwave and oven safety depends on the sheet material, not the machine. Plates produced from PP sheet are microwave-safe up to 120°C. Plates produced from CPET sheet are both microwave- and oven-safe up to 220°C, making CPET the preferred choice for frozen meal trays and airline catering. PS, PET/APET, and PLA plates are not heat-safe and should be used for cold-service applications only.
